With a 25yr professional background that spans graphic design, architectural design, illustration, and storytelling, Jason Tucker’s life has been shaped by wonder and imagination. A 30yr follower of Jesus, and a 15yr volunteer youth mentor, Jason knows how incredibly difficult it can be to move a conversation about grades, or the latest video game, into a real conversation about faith. That lead him to spend over two decades exploring the art and science of storytelling, conversation, and technology, with a focus on two words…SHARED + NARRATIVE. Those two words inspired the launch of social venture in 2020 called Group Lore, with a mission to connect youth to Jesus through story.
Malia is an incoming junior at Belhaven University, studying Creative Writing along with a minor in Biblical Studies. A lover of reading, writing, and honoring God in every way she can, she has started with writing her own novels and is now overjoyed to join the Group Lore team to help write the next chapter of Liv and Ty’s epic adventure!
Emilie graduated from UCCS with a degree in Professional/Technical Writing. From editing to copywriting to running her own digital marketing business, Emilie enjoys sprinkling her talents across multiple fields. But her latest obsessions include crafting Liv’s and Ty’s story and dramatically acting out their dialogue lines and gestures.
Having written, directed, produced and acted in projects that have won awards at multiple domestic and international film festivals, Robert Ramos has a rich past in the business of filmmaking. Group Lore is a digital media company that builds meaningful conversation around meaningful content. We believe that every story is better with friends, so our products are designed to be enjoyed with one or more friends.
Eventually, we would love to have a larger catalogue of deeply engaging, faith-based titles that span a variety genres, but for now, our focus is on delivering new episodes of The Way’s epic adventure each year to readers just like you all around the globe!
Group Lore is a social enterprise, which means that it is a for-profit entity that has ‘Cause-based’ guidelines by which it operates. Those cause-based guidelines in our case, are rooted in the Christian faith based on Biblical scripture, so yes.
Group Lore is a for profit company.
No. This project is in no way related to The Way International organization.
We’re excited about what we’ve built so far, but we’re still a really young company having been founded in 2020.
A Guild Pass grants access to our illustrated adventure series, featuring both Ty and Liv’s stories. Each episode concludes with thought-provoking questions that delve into moral, theological, and philosophical themes. Your group — or “Guild” — can discuss these questions and collectively decides the characters’ next steps!
Starting a Guild is simple:
Get a Pass: Choose the appropriate Guild Pass for your group size.
Access the Portal: Log in to our Partner Portal for resources and guidance.
Dive into the Story: Read the episodes together.
Engage in Discussion: Use the provided questions to foster meaningful conversations.
Make Decisions: Vote as a group on the characters’ choices, influencing the story’s direction.
Our content is designed for youth aged 14 and up. The stories tackle real-life challenges — like loss, fear, and identity — through a Biblical lens. We encourage parents and leaders to preview the material to ensure it aligns with their group’s needs.
After purchasing a pass, you’ll receive login credentials to our Partner Portal. From there, you can access the full adventure, including all the latest episodes, discussion guides, and additional resources to support your group’s experience!

Absolutely! Our digital format is designed for flexibility, making it easy to engage with youth whether you’re meeting in person or virtually.
Group Lore is currently powered by a small, passionate team of indie developers, and we’re crafting each episode with care and prayer. While we don’t have a set release schedule just yet, we’re working hard to bring you new content as soon as possible. Your patience means the world to us, and we promise: the wait will be worth it!
