Our Team

Learn more about our team and what drives the work we do.

We are a diverse mix of creatives who share a deep love for the God who created us, a passion for pursuing biblical truth, and a reliance on Jesus as The Way back to God. We also find ourselves constantly inspired by stories of all kinds, people of all kinds, and pizza of all kinds… but not necessarily in that order.

Statement of Faith.

While at its core, this story is a morality tale anchored in the Christian faith, we want to honor the fact that everyone will bring their own personal worldview with them into the experience. To that end, here’s a short overview of what we believe, because it’s the beating heart behind this entire project:
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there’s one God (Yahweh), who existed before time and continues to exist as: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We take Jesus at his word when he said ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 NIV). We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Jason H. Tucker

Founder // Writer // Illustrator

With a 25yr professional background that spans graphic design, architectural design, illustration, and storytelling, Jason Tucker’s life has been shaped by wonder and imagination. A 30yr follower of Jesus, and a 15yr volunteer youth mentor, Jason knows how incredibly difficult it can be to move a conversation about grades, or the latest video game, into a real conversation about faith. That lead him to spend over two decades exploring the art and science of storytelling, conversation, and technology, with a focus on two words…SHARED + NARRATIVE. Those two words inspired the launch of social venture in 2020 called Group Lore, with a mission to connect youth to Jesus through story.

Our Hope.

As Christian creators, our art is fueled by our passion for life and our gratitude for the God who created us. We want to tell a story that stirs something inside the hearts and minds of readers–causing them to look up and wonder if there might be a God out there who’s willing to move heaven and earth to reconnect with them.  And when this story is over, our hope is that those readers will know the answer to that question.

FAQs.

Group Lore is a digital media company that builds meaningful conversation around meaningful content.  We believe that every story is better with friends, so our products are designed to be enjoyed with one or more friends.

Eventually, we would love to have a larger catalogue of deeply engaging, faith-based titles that span a variety genres, but for now, our focus is on delivering new episodes of The Way’s epic adventure each year to readers just like you all around the globe!

Group Lore is a social enterprise, which means that it is a for-profit entity that has ‘Cause-based’ guidelines by which it operates. Those cause-based guidelines in our case, are rooted in the Christian faith based on Biblical scripture, so yes.

Group Lore is a for profit company.

We’re excited about what we’ve built so far, but we’re still a really young company having been founded in 2020.

“Group Lore’s commitment to quality and innovative storytelling totally hits the mark for today’s students.”
